Download this program http://anchorfree.com/downloads/hotspot-shield/ then once you have it installed,connect using the connect button either from the icon in the taskbar or the one on your desktop, then once connected play a youku movie like normally and it will buffer/play much faster.

also, i added this app in a few of my posts a long time ago but i think some people might have missed it so to make tudou movies play better/faster download this program http://www.speedbit.com/video%5Faccelerator/ ( speedbit accelerator ) and install then it will really help when watching movies on slow sites like tudo..it works with some others aswell, there is a full list on website.

I tried both programs and I saw no difference so I removed them from my computer.
The only thing I have noticed that helps is on Todou if the movie is downloading slow then I will refresh it. Sometimes I have to refresh it several times before I start getting a fast download.

Yeah...when you install the program it will put an icon on your desktop,to start it just click on the icon '' Hotspot sheild '' and then it will automatically connect...then all you have to do is open your browser and click on a movie link for a youku movie and it will start to buffer and you will see a big difference in the speed...you shouldnt have to pause the movie at all once it begins to play -)

only the second app works for tudou - speedbit accelerator .


it does work..for some reason, sometimes when you start HPS it will connect but when you go to stream a youku movie it will have no effect so you have to disconnect and re connect again...usually that will fix the connection problem and it will definetly work..right click on the icon in the taskbar and click disconnect and then wait a few seconds and click connect again, then try.
