Sometimes whenever I've downloaded a movie, I try to play it on the Veoh player and it won't play because it requires a DIVX codec of some sorts. I've got the most updated DIVX, and sometimes I'll download the codec and still get no results. What's the deal on that?

i can't view any Veoh videos as it says i'm in UAE. Is it blocked here. Plz help.

Then I guess you're out of luck.
One thing I may suggest is to hide your ip and use an IP from another region/country, this might work or it may not. So ya its just a suggestion.

EDIT: I have positiv response that the tool enables the download in blocked countries!

It is still beta version but stable. It would be very interessting for me it if works for your. I could not test it sincemy country is not blocked, so I would be interessted of your experience.

You need to install Java 6. Unzip the file and start it directly (setup is only needed if you want support for the veoh link download with veoh tv)
