Hi guys

I was watching TV one night with my mum and we found an Italian Film, it was briliant and it was in two parts so we said oh will watch it next week then, however we couldn't remember the name or the channel it was on so we were a bit screwed. We both really want to see the other half of the movie so if you know it please tell me.

It was set in 1960's,we think it starts in 1962 and when we left it it was in 1966, we know this because during the film there was the Florence Flood in Italy.

Now the film was about an Itailan boy who has 3 brothers, the 4 Boys who have just come out of uni and they all plan to travel around, now the main character is working at a mental home and is given a girl to look after. In the mental home they are using the electronic method to try and help the people there. He decides to take her back homee becuase he feels that the method isn't right. So he and his ealdest brother take her back to her father while the others carry on. They get there and the father tells them to take her back, so they are at the train station and they give the girl some money to go get ice cream (doing this because they are trying to help her) she acts werid infront of some soliders who take her away. So now the two brothers are alone, then at this point the main character decides to leave his brother and go to sweden like he planed. so they went there seprate ways he continued to sweden were he got a job and meet a beautiful swedish girl, his brother went into the army (which was very unlike the character). Then the Florence Flood of 1966 hit and the main character leaves sweden and this beautiful girl and goes back to help. Here he find his brother (the one in the army) then out of nowere they find there other two brothers who came back also to help with the flood. at the end of this part of the film they are sitting down and eating when two young girls and a old man walk around giving food and wine to people who are helping with the flood. the 3 brothers start talking when a piano starts to play here they meet a girl who also has come to help with the flood, they all start talking and it finished with the main character and her talking.

ok now if you did get that well done, there was alot in that film and i might have got som things wrong. But it was on TV in the UK and i really want to see the end. So if anyones got any idea's to what it is please help.

My mothers got a werid feeling its call "when we were young" but I'm not sure with that.
