Feature Film Competition

Have you seen Filmaka.com's new film making contest? You can win $500
to $3000 for a 1 to 3 minute short! At the end of the year they give
funding to one of these winners to make a feature-length film. The guy
who won last year's contest is getting over $5 million in funding to
make his movie!

They just launched another round of competition for shorts. May's
theme is "Behind Closed Doors," so your short has to be about that to
win $$$. Films have to be uploaded to the site by June 2. more info

SAB Miller Competition

Filmaka.com and SAB Miller have teamed up for a world-wide short
script competition! The theme is BECAUSE LIFE IS WHAT YOU POUR INTO
IT, so they want pitches for short films that "celebrate life." They
will pick 15 of the best script pitches and give them $1500 (USD) each
to make their film! Then 5 of those filmmakers will win $5000! The
competition ends June 4.
