what data are you baseing these assumptions from, I don't think hollywood has monopolized the industry but has bastardized foreign scripts and remakes of classic films. Very few original scripts in mainstream hollywood that I've seen.Will the chinese industry ever match hollywood? god I hope not, that would mean throwing out all artistic intregrity and regurgitating the standerd formula for the " blockbuster film " but hey I could just talking out of my hat...
